Summers heat means a few things to me.The trout fishing is on hold due to water temp’s exceeding 70 degrees. This means that I am now targeting smallmouth bass. Hitting bigger river like the Yough and Upper Allegheny are the best bets. Late August will bring about the White Fly hatch that brings the smallies to the surface at dark. Summer also means a heavy work load with summer camps and weddings. I find myself drinking more beer during the summer.
