After a great bike ride around the lake Brob and I decided to check out a hole that held bluegill last year. What we found was a biomass of bluegill and on each cast for the next hour we had a bit.

Goodbye April
The faint sound of the alarm woke me up with a dry mouth, the byproduct of a pre-bedtime 16oz beer, it was the last day of April and I was determined to fish. As I washed the cobwebs out of my brain I started to think about my fishing options…no carp had been caught this year, maybe I’ll do that? Or those bluegill are awfully fun.
