Are they a good thing or bad thing when it comes to fly tying? My take is that they are bad. Scissors where not magnetic when you were a toddler cutting construction paper into holiday decorations. This magnetic feature takes me by surprise when I’m tying flies. Anything that throws off the tying rhythm is not needed. It’s not even like I wanted this magnetic feature, but the scissors mean a lot to me, as they were my grandfathers, so I’ll make do. Made in Pakistan, so let’s hope we don’t have a major war with them.
